Virtual Grief Support Program
GriefMessages is a Biblical based grief education program.
You Don't Have to Walk This Road Alone.
Grief can be one of the most isolating experiences of life. Whether your loss comes from the death of a loved one, a disability, a broken relationship, a job, or a life-altering transition, the weight of that pain is real, and you were never meant to carry it alone.
GriefMessages is pleased to offer our Virtual Grief Support Program, a compassionate, biblically grounded teaching for individuals navigating the journey of loss, available from the comfort and security of your own home, wherever you live.
How It Works
Our Virtual Grief Program meets bi-monthly, twice each month, through a secure online platform that is easy to access from any device. Each gathering is thoughtfully structured to provide both teaching and community.
Every session includes:
24 Topics Over the Course of One Year
Our program is built around 24 carefully selected grief topics, two per month, covering the full landscape of the grief journey. Topics address the emotional, spiritual, and practical realities of loss, each anchored in Scripture and centered on the comfort and truth of God's Word.
You are welcome to join at any point in the year. There is no set starting point, simply come as you are, when you are ready.
Open to Anyone, Anywhere
One of the great strengths of our Virtual Program is accessibility. You do not need to travel, find parking, or sit in a room full of strangers before you are ready. You can join from your living room, your kitchen table, or wherever feels safe. All you need is an internet connection.
We serve individuals and families across Charlotte, across the country, and beyond. Loss is universal — and so is our welcome.
Who Leads the Program
Our Virtual Grief Support Program is facilitated by a credentialed grief specialist and ordained chaplain with over 30 years of experience in funeral service, hospice care, and bereavement ministry, and a deep personal understanding of what it means to walk through loss. Every session is led with compassion, biblical integrity, and pastoral care. Chaplain Joseph A. Immordino Jr, DBS-BC, MATS, CT

Our Virtual Grief Program meets bi-monthly, twice each month, through a secure online platform that is easy to access from any device. Each gathering is thoughtfully structured to provide both teaching and community.
Every session includes:
- A Teaching Time — Each gathering centers on a specific grief-related topic paired with a foundational Bible verse. These teachings are designed to meet you where you are, offering biblical perspective, honest understanding, and genuine encouragement for the season you are walking through.
- A Conversation Time — Following the teaching, participants are invited into an open, supportive conversation. This is a safe and respectful space to share, listen, and connect with others who understand the weight of loss.
